Collaborative Networks Between Service Providers
Palliative Care across the island of Ireland is currently characterised by a broad mix of established voluntary providers, new and evolving committed community groups and the statutory sector.
Whilst there is a substantial base of experience, services can be isolated and lack the knowledge and infrastructure for sustainable progress.
AIIHPC will develop a 'twinning programme' between palliative care providers across the island of Ireland enabling shared learning, partnership building and knowledge and cultural exchange.
Work Activity 7 offers:
- Established productive relationships between service providers resulting in increased standards of palliative care practice across the island
- Established relationships with international services support the progress of palliative care across the island of Ireland and internationally
